The PVMA food drive has less than one week left and we have only received 8 cans of food so far. We really need your help to feed pets in need. The Portland Veterinary Medical Association is raising pet food (and supplies) to be distributed through the Oregon Food Bank and JOIN. The drive is to help feed the pets of people in need this holiday season. For many their pets are their most important family members and the thought of losing your pet because you cannot care for them is heart breaking. One bag of food, one gently used leash could make the difference in the life of a pet and the people that love them. We have less than a week to accept as many donations as we can. You can also support local businesses in the process. Visit Portland Pet Supply, Healthy Pets Northwest or Salty's and pick up a small bag of   food or a couple of cans to place in our donation bin. We also carry a maintenance line of pet food by Royal Canin - we've donated bags for both dogs and cats.
